Originally used as the main ingredient in making pumpkin pie, this combination of spices have become the best in autumnal cuisine. I had no regrets using the Pumpkin Pie Spice mix in my Chicken and Pear Salad recipe.

Why Chicken breasts?
Plausibly, the most popular part of a chicken you can buy are the breasts. It is the leanest part of the chicken and easy to cook. Hence, the perfect cut of poultry for this recipe.
Applesauce Vinaigrette
This salad dressing deserves it’s own post. The addition of applesauce makes for a rich and flavorful salad dressing. Add some seasonings you like to make it your own.
